Everyday Household Items With A Lit Twist

This site has everyday items given a literary spin. How would you like Shakespeare’s insult magnets or Penguin Classics tea towel of Virginia Woolf or even an Oscar Wilde tea mug? I especially like the simple design of the ceramic products.

At Wrapables.com, you can have little men, or rather Bookend Men, organising your books.

This one takes the cake, I think: Speakers Disguised as Books

Those bookends are cute, but it’s the speakers I want. I can just imagine the conversations they’d spark with visitors.

“Why do you have those books up there on your desk?”

    “Those aren’t books. See?”

    “Ooh…weird.” Heh.

nylusmilk: or if you put on some music and your visitors were looking for the speakers and they’ll go, “rhigirl, your music seems to coming from that book!” 😆
